How to Remove WordPress Icon from Your Browser Tab Without Any Plugins

If you are using WordPress 6.1 or a block theme on your WordPress website, there is a built-in full website editor.

Firstly, copy and paste https://example.com/wp-admin/customize.php where example.com starnds for your domain name. This URL takes you to the Theme Customizer.

Then go to Site Indentity > Site Icon. In order to open the WordPress media library click Select Site Icon button. Here you can choose any image as your favicon (a tiny image next to the website name in a browser).
