How Can I Remove Visual Editor Mode in WordPress?

The visual editor is easy to use for beginners. It has a WYSIWYG interface and different formatting options.

But advanced ysers usually prefer using the plain text editor. It also has some formatting buttons. When you write a post, it shows raw HTML text.

The problem is that switching between the visual and the plain text editors can effect formatting or even add unnecessary formatting.

To remove the visual editor mode in WordPress, go to Users > Your Profile, find a Visual Editor section and check the box saying “Disable aditor when writing”. Click Update Profile to save the changes.
