What is the difference between HTTP & HTTPS?

Both HTTP and HTTPS are protocols. The main difference between them is that HTTPS uses TLS (SSL) to encrypt all requests and responses, which makes HTTPS more secure than regular HTTP. If the website URL starts with http://, it uses HTTP, and if it starts with https://, it is more secure and uses HTTPS.
