What Is a WordPress Layout?

Most websites’ layout is the same. It usually consists of header, content area and footer. There also can be a sidebar, it’s on the side of the content area.

Header is the top area of a web-page containing logo, navigation menus, search section, etc.

Content area is where the main information and all the content are. There can be articles, products, call to action, testimonials, newsletter signup form and much more. Next to the content area you may see a sidebar containing different widgets, categories, popular content, etc.

Footer is the bottom section of a web-page. There you will find privacy policy, tems of service, important links, about page and so on.
