How to Add a New User to WordPress?

You can add a small amount of new users to your WordPress website manually. There is a built-in WordPress user management system.

Go to Users > Add New in the WordPress admin area. Fill in the data. Please note that the username can’t be easily changed later, the other details can be. Also please check if the email address is correct, it can be used to log in instead of the username. If you check a box saying “Send the new user an email about their account”, the system will send the user the information how to log in.

You can also allow new users to register on your website. Note that this method requres adding a login form to your website. To allow the registration go to Settings > General and find the Anyone can register checkbox. Check it. Click Save Changes button.
