Ringside

Ringside is a modern digital media platform that helps brands engage audiences through innovative marketing campaigns, delivering a seamless user experience and easy access to content.

THE SOLUTION

We created a custom plugin that connects to RSS feed APIs – such as the Feedly API – and generates posts based on queries from those feeds. Users can add feed posts to categories within their Feedly account and then sync them directly with the website. An intuitive interface allows mapping Feedly categories to WordPress post categories, ensuring content appears automatically according to the defined mapping.

CUSTOM CONTENT BUILDER

In addition to the plugin, we developed a Custom Content Builder using Advanced Custom Fields. This enables the client to create pages from customizable blocks and assign a category to each block. As a result, imported posts can be displayed in organized groups based on specific needs – creating content-rich pages with the latest posts from API sources, all wrapped in a user-defined front-end experience.

REUSABLE CONTENT SYSTEM

The plugin and builder are designed to be easily adaptable across different websites, allowing us to reuse the solution beyond the Ringside project for clients in various industries. This flexibility significantly reduces the workload for content managers, as posting and formatting are largely template-driven.
In practice, all that’s required is to add new content and assign the appropriate categories, while the system automatically maintains consistent styling and layout across the website.
