Check The Host

Check The Host is a startup offering a review service for real estate in Great Britain.

Client

The platform helps users check performance, uptime, security, and technical data such as IP information and response times.

We handled the full scope of work for this project, starting from rough sketches and ending with a custom application built on the Laravel framework for the backend, with React powering the front end. We designed both the user-facing side of the project and the admin interface from scratch. For the admin panel, we created an intuitive interface that allows easy management of review data.

PROTOTYPE TO DEVELOPMENT

First, we outlined the primary user flows and built a prototype based on them. After testing the prototypes, we conducted another iteration based on the results.

Following successful testing, we developed visual guides and created design components. From there, we crafted a clean, cohesive design for all pages and implemented it in code. The final result was a custom Laravel-based application, ready for deployment to a PHP server.

REVIEWS & ADMIN SYSTEM

The core functionality of the website centers around its reviews system. Users can create company profiles and leave reviews, while existing companies can claim ownership through domain verification.
In addition to the user-facing features, we developed a custom Admin Dashboard that enables full control over database entries and static content. By leveraging modern tools, we ensured the data management process is intuitive, efficient, and highly customizable, allowing site administrators to manage content with ease and without technical complexity.
